Default Front seats: what fits?

What front seats, other than 850 seats, will fit in a 1994 850 wagon? S70 seats? C70 seats? What years? gonna go to the junk yard in chicago tomorrow and I plan on coming home with seats.

It'd be nice if the seats i got actually fit in my car.

Thanks in advance, all.

Yeah I got a 94 as well both front seats are shot, but I found a 98 v70 at a salvage yard that was wrecked new and the seats are really nice. $20 a piece leather same color as mine. I'm getting those for sure .

Man, you should have snagged those when you seen them.

Like he said, even if it was only to resell them. Mine are pretty well shot and I'm not liking any of prices I've seen for leather replacements.

Default Check the seat belts

I have a 98V70 Turbo AWD parts car for my driver which is a 94 850 and the seats will fit but the outboard lower seatbelt anchor is a different style and will not fit directly. The 94 outboard lower seatbelt anchor is riveted bracket that the seatbelt loop goes around a bolt. The 98 lower outboard seatbelt anchor has a bracket sewn into the seatbelt webbing that bolts into a weldnut on the seat frame.

I am psyching myself up to drilling out the rivet on the 94 rivetted bracket so I can mount the 98 seats in the 850 with a nut & bolt but have not gone that far yet.

good Luck

Mike

Well today for $54.00 I got 2 leather seats , no tears, just kid dirty from a 98, that went in my 94 850. For $54.00 I also got front carpets, sparkplug wires, power antenna , bunch of change, several bulbs, found a ratchet, and a few othe things I can't remember. I installed both seats and will have to address the seat belt mounts, like the above post says. Nice to have good seats, mine were shot. Oh, and a few vacuum hoses. Not bad for $54.00 dollars. Marvin, in Idaho .

So far my gran total for my 94 Volvo 850 is $590.00. We shall see, after I flush the trans. If that goes we're done.
