hey guys l need your help. l just changed my struts but didnt replace the strut mounts and spring seat. l still see a little movement when l bounce the car on the strut mount, what does this tell me, the strut is going bad and needs replacing or the spring seat needs replacing too?thanks

 

Thats why everytime I replace the struts I replace also spring seats and strut mounts. Could be but if you look at the mounts when they where out of the strut assembly you could have notice if they were worn out. Check if you leave sometime loose there also.

 

how does a worn out strut mount look like?

 

The metal piece in the mount will be loose thats something that is noticeable when you look at it or it could have play but most likely you see it broken and loose
