Default Front Window Help

Since today was a nice day and my front passenger window is sticking
about an inch before reaching the bottom I decided to work on it. This
is on a 95 850. I pulled off the door panel but could not see anything
that may be causing the problem. Any help appreciated.

When I had a problem with mine it was a metal track at the back side of the door. Mine was all twisted up and I had to buy a new one. It was sticking at first then it came lose and the window would rattle like crazy when I shut the door with the window down. If that track is good, not sure what the problem might be.

Try seeing if the side track is pinched at the bottom. If not it may be an adjustment issue. Not sure on the 850 but most windows have in/out, side to side, andcorner to corner adjustment screws. The trick is to get the window perfectly square in teh window opening/channel.

If it only sticks about an inch from the bottom, it might be something tolive with for now, unless it is a major aggrevation to you.

you are right normally it is something I can live with.

But with summer coming and teenagers around I need to fix it.
While waiting I did 2 other items that needed attention. I changed
the radio mask, got everything to hook up and felt the needed tug
but still will not go down when off, (is this a motor issue?) and also
I had been having a rare stalling at times, no check engine light,
and sitting still would cut off, always started back. A friend suggested
the air idle control valve was the culprit. I purchased a used one since
I cannot afford new. Got it changed, but after doing so the CEL is
on and the code I pulled was 245 which is the AIC closure, so does that
mean it will turn off after a few miles or do I need to return the previous
AIC valve since it maystill be good.

It sounds like the new AIC might be bad. Check all the hookups, but if you can, put the old one back in and see if the code comes up again.
