fuel pump removal
I have an 850 estate and the fuel pump needs replacement, how do you disconnect the fuel lines.
I have seen a thread that says to disconnect the "quick release" connectors, how exactly do you disconnect them.
Cheers Steve

You need to pry them upwards.
Edit: Post #35 was my post on the directions. They are very good directions but if you need help let us know.

^What do you mean?
Look at that link I posted because one of the links is instructions for wagons (but it applies to sedans equally.)
If you pull up the matting in your trunk, you will see a circular metal thing on the passenger side. Underthere is the pump.

Yep found it - it was one of the other links within your directions. I hadmy fuel pumpreplaced about a month ago ($600!). I usually do all the work myself, but it died on the way to work so I had to have it towed somewhere. That somewhere was an import place down the street, I noticed the last couple times after I filledthe tankup completely it smelled like gas. The bozos at the shop didnt even tighten the ring down - I tightenend it by hand thenused a screwdriver to tap it tighter, guess I'll stay away from that place.
