I called my cousin who works at a GM dealer, he told me to spray the condenser with some gel type degreaser and let it sit 20 minutes. Then with garden hose pressure, get close up at bumper distance and spray it down with a simple hose nozzle. Wow, 19 yrs. of bugs and gunk came out.
during idle it hovers around 36 degrees and when compressor kicks in it goes down to 32!! the photo shows it going back up while I was focusing my 15 yr old camera
I added some pics of my wagon in profile, not totally clean, I still need to clay and buff it out

Nice! What degreaser did you use? I need to get my hands on some of that stuff! One of my biggest irritations is a dirty and/or clogged, damaged, etc. cooler on a vehicle. I always like to know my various coolers are working to the best of their ability, so I'm definitely going to have to try this cleaning, despite the fact my A/C is already freezing (literally). Still, it will be nice to see what sort of nastiness I can rid my condenser of.

here it is
I only sprayed the front, if I get time I wanna take out that plastic top part above the radiator off and get the back side of condenser. I actually put the straw on the can nozzle and worked slowly through with short bursts. Remember not to use a lot of pressure when hosing it down, the water stream could be too strong and bend the fins
