Default got service manual?tech help?

I am still having the problem with the throttle. The diagnostic says rich in bank one. I replaced the MAF, reset the engine light and it is still happening. It is getting worse; more frequent and at lower speeds and idle. I am going to check for vaccum leaks using carb. cleaner, but was wondering if you could get me a pdf for the maf wiring with wmv, voltage and resistence, as wiring would be the next step

I don't have access to wiring diagrams any more.Make sure you check good for vaccum leaks and make sure the O2 sensors are working properly.

When you pulled codes were they O2 sensor codes?Or was it a long term fuel trim code?If it was a long term fuel trim code that means air leak.Behind the power steering pump check on the intake manifold and see if there is a vaccum nipple there. If there is check it good they are known to get a hole on the vaccum elbow.I forget which wires are which for the O2 sensors to test it.But if there wasn't anything in the codes about it leave it for now. Also check your induction hoses good with age they get weak and develop holes in them.Check from the throttle body going out.Does it put alot of black smoke out while you drive it?

There is a nipple on the valve cover directly beside the air box. The line going from there to the air tube on top of the turbo has a large crack. There has been black smoke. I have only really noticed it when the car is at idle and starts to sputter. Is this problem damaging my engine, or is the computer acting in safe mode?

The computer is trying to correct it the best it can.Any kind of cracks in any vaccum line or induction lets to much air into the engine. Then the computer trys to compensate from the readings from the O2 sensors. So it trys to reach a happy medium. So make sure you don't have anymore vaccum leaks. Then reset the codes and try again.A vaccum leak plays havic with the computer.Make sure you check all the induction hoses good to and from the intercooler.I have seen them get small holes in them and they will make the car run very crappy.
