Default Ground G901 Location

Try as I might I can't find this ground. It might have something to do with the mess the previous owner left behind when he 'installed' a remote starter/alarm/ripped it out before he sold it.

Vadis says "Top right side of steering column"

Thanks
Shawn

I'm not looking at a wiring diagram right now just going from memory. It may be the ground located on the fire wall if I remember correctly.

On the inside of the interior or under the hood?

I think I found the one you're thinking of. It's not the one, it's a strap right off the engine block.

This is the ground for the
blower fan relay (w/o ECC)
climate control panel (w/o ECC)
program selector switch (w/ a/t)
left/right rear heater seat switch
left front door lock
left/right front heated seat switch
power window switch
electronic climate control module (w/ECC)
blower fan control module (w/ ECC)
power sunroof control module
blower fan motor
right power door mirror
driver/passenger in car temperature sensors
p-shift lock solenoid
cigar lighter illumination
gear selector illumination lamp
rear ashtray illumination lamp
right vanity mirror lighting
on board diagnostic connector

Most of those things don't work on the car.

What is this ground for? Or what seems to be the problem?

It very well may be power. I just figured I would check the ground first. Free fix. Power source is one of those pricey parts.
