Has anyone tried the headlight lens replacements? Both of mine have chips that go all the way through and just replacing the lens is a lot cheaper than entire lights.

 

I did it on a 960, wasn't a big deal. You can also check jy for them. I think they have some good ones around here.

 

It's really easy to do. They just have "C" shaped clips around the perimeter and you simply pry them off gently with a screwdriver. They pop back on with just the pressure from your thumb.

I took one of mine off but found that moisture had degraded the reflector so ended up replacing both headlights with complete units from 1A Auto.

 

Yeah I bought one aftermarket on e-bay about 5 years ago, still looks great. it was a breeze to change, just be gentle with the clips.

 

I would go to Pick n Pull but it seems like I never have enough time.
