Default Heater fan resistor

So I think my heater fan resistor is going out. The blower fan only works half the time so I know it's not the fan motor. Can anyone tell me where it's located? And that part would be interchangable between any 850s correct?

by your right knee if you were sitting in the passenger seat. You can get it out by pulling the knee bolster. Its interchangable but I think you need to be mindful if you have climate control or manual. Its to the left of the fan motor.

Ok I have climate control. When my car comes back from the shop I'll try to get at mine. Maybe it's just loose or something. Thanks for the info and what tools should I need for the knee panel?

Its an easy job but you might want to check your vin...I believe there are different resistors for the 850's.

Remove the torx screws and take out glove compartment and kick panel. You will now see a black knee bolster. Remove the three bolts I believe is 13mm, I always forget sorry. Just to the left of blower motor casing you will see a black casing being held on with a single torx screw. Unscrew and unplug wire.
Just a note, that to the bottom right of the resistor you will see another small wire plugged in. Unplug that and it makes it easier to take resistor out.

Yea I'm thinking the contacts are dirty myself. I would be able to check it out if FCP sent the correct parts with my PCV system. Ah what's one more day without my car....TORTURE that's what lol. Thanks for the help guys.
