Default Heck of a deal!

I just changed my oil and took my old oil to Autozone since they take it free of charge. While there, I saw they are running a special: 5 qts of Mobil 1 and a Mobil 1 oil filter for $29.99.
My 96 850 T5 loves the high mileage 10w 40 M1. I got 5 single quarts and an M-104 filter for the 29.99...ready for the next oil change!

Isn't the oil capacity in the T5 7.something quarts? Woolshire you may already know this, but for the benefit of others......
"Mobil" is not synth its conventional, "Mobil 1" however is syth.. Often people buy "Mobil" (especially Clean 5000) thinking its synth when its not. Its still a fine oil, just know what you are getting

T5 oil capacity is less than 6 quarts if filter is changed too.

Advance Auto Parts runs this special all the time, most of the time.

Woolshire was talking about Mobil 1, which is fully synth. On the other hand, Mobil 1 oil filters are not best according to the oil forums. I would rather get Mann oil filters (either FCP Advance Auto for about $ 4.50).

I would think so. Yet that's paraphrasing Volvo documents.

I use 6 quarts on a change. The special was for 5 quarts. I usually buy my oil at WalMart becuase it is normally the cheapest (~$25 for 5 quarts)...the thing about the specials at Advance and O' Reileys is they are (at least around here) 4 quarts and a filter. Their big jug is 4 quarts, not 5.
I was surprised to see this special at Autozone because their normal price for the M1 5 quart jug is $34 and another $13 for the filter. To go from $47 to $30 is quite the sale.
