My check engine light came on and I got these codes.

P0730 - incorrect gear ratio
P0120 - Throttle position sensor

Can someone tell me what is the deal with the " incorrect gear ratio" I guess the throttle sensor needs to be changed.

The P0730 - incorrect gear ratio May have come from the throttle position sensor code.
Clear all of them and see what ones come back.

 

I cleared the codes and only the
P0120 - Throttle position sensor
came back. I guess the sensor needs to be replaced.

95 850 GLT non-turbo

 

Same P0120 error with my 1998 S70. Tried putting in a new TPS and a new used TCU. After a few hundred miles code comes back again. Did you ever find a solution?

 

I have the same p0730 code along with p0331 and p0400
we cleared them out and they all came back

 

Ok, I see you posted this problem in another post. Work on it there and please post back with your fixes.
