For the periodic blinky arrow of doom

A2: 1-1-1
A3: 2-1-3
A6: 3-1-4

A1 3-2-3= Lock-up slipping or not engaged.
A3 ABS 213=left rear wheel sensor signal missing when moving off.
A6 314= Cam position sensor signal missing or or faulty.

Clear all the codes and see if they come back.

The only code that wouldn't clear was the ABS one, but the ABS light doesn't show up, and the ABS still works thankfully.


So far the other codes haven't returned, and for some reason the tranny sounds and handles better than before. And tomorrow i'm going to change the thermostat and flush the coolant system, have to get a new battery. Then take the car down and get an oil change, and find the source of my leak. Hopefully the rain will let up so i can get to work.


There is one problem i have noticed with the tranny, say i'm going 65 MPH at 3,000RPM, let off the gas drops to 2,500RPM But if i down shift to 3rd or L, the rpms drop to Idle when i let off the gas.

The only time the engine brake works is if it's in L and the speed drops below 30-25ish

They are kind of weird like that. If it shifts ok them it is ok.

The Left rear sensor might be dirty.

What year is it?

 

It's a 1993 GLT.

Update: thermostate was an absolute pain to deal with, but i changed it, and now the needle is pointing towards 3 o'clock all the time, so i'm happy.

Yah try cleaning the sensor.
It is to early of a car for the ABS module problems.
The 1993's Rarely have ABS problems.
