Hesitation when accelerating
I've got a '93 850 automaticwith a new issue! The car idles and starts fine, but, when I step on the accelerator quickly, it 'bogs down" for a few seconds, and , than revs up.It does this whether I'm in neutral or in gear. IfI step on the gas pedal lightly, it's not a problem!
I just changed the coolant, and, replaced the coolant temp sensor thinking it might be the problem, but, it wasn't.
Any suggestions are appreciated!!
Thanks, Tom

RE: Hesitation when accelerating
I checked the codes today using the on-board system. Here's what I got!
Fuel System Fault Codes were 1-2-1 ( MAP sensor signal absent or faulty) and1-2-3(Coolant Temp Sensor signal absent or faulty)
Ignition system FaultCode was1-2-3(Coolant Temp Sensor signal absent or faulty).
I just replaced the Coolant Temp Sensor! I ,also, checked the voltage @ the terminals and it was 5V per spec.
I ,also, removed the connector from the MAF while the car was idling, and, it stalled! Is thisnormal??
Any suggestions??
