Hesitation while accelerating

Today I noticed that when I accelerate quick enough (to get on the expressway) the engine hesitates. It starts right up, no codes or lights. Any suggestions?
V40 2000 122000 miles

I had a similar issue (see "Clunking at low speeds" thread below.) Mechanic said: first change spark plugs, if that doesn't fix the problem, replace coilpacks.

I was throwing a misfire code though.
