For about 5 bucks you can easily add an mp3 jack to your factory stereo. I made the mod and have the jack inside the armrest. Uses a dummy cassette body.

On my white 850 wagon I painted all of the black trim with rattle can Trim Black (actual name of product) 2 years later it still looks great. Would really top off your nice paint resurrection.

Thanks for the ideas. But, my OEM deck is shot. It really wasn't salvageable.

I've got a double din that I'm working on installing now. I'm waiting on the adapter for the factory amp right now. That threw me for a bit. That, and I'm getting a cage to properly mount the thing.

I'll update with pics when I get it buttoned up.

Oh, and we'll have to see if the factory speakers are useable. The door speakers look kinda jacked up, but we'll see. I've been using my phone and a bluetooth speaker in the meantime.

Uh, ok, but I have no idea what a double din is. or a cage for that matter.

Guess I don't need either of those to listen to talk radio....

Lol, double dim is a stereo that is double high, the ones that are twice as high as the single dim stereos that take up less space.
