Default High beam malfunction and ABS light on

Hi, it's been a long time since my last post.

My 850 has presented two new problems lately.

The first one is with the ABS module, probably the well-known bad solder problem. The module was replaced by the dealer in 2006 when I bought the car. Incredibly they put in a new module which has failed again 4 years later.

The second problem is that the high beam will turn on by itself. If I try to turn it off using the turn signal arm, it goes off and then some seconds later it will turn on again by itself. Sounds like there is a malfunction in the switch. Currently I have pulled the high beam fuses so I can use the car, but I would like to fix this ASAP so I can drive during the night.

Is it easy to fix problem #2? Are there any writeups on this?

Thanks
Axel

Bummer about the ABS unit; hope it's just solder joints; let us know what you find..

On the high beam issue (going from a '95 schematic) looks like you need to hook up a test light to the yellow/white wire coming from High/Low TS switch that goes to the Main Headlight Relay; 12v on this line is signal to relay to activate high beams. If high beams are going on w/o voltage on this line, then likely the issue is the relay rather than the switch...
