today i took off the silver canister underneath the plastic cover that covers the throttle. when i put everything back together the car started idling at a higher rpm what could of i messed up and how do i fix it
any ideas?

 

that 'silver canister' is the Idle Air Control Valve...without it connected properly or at all, you'll have **** idle.

yeah i didnt plug the sensor in good enough
when i was putting it back together i kind of just shoved it on all i had to do was push it in a little more untill it clicked into place
