Hissing noise
By left front you mean drivers side? Your air intake is right there. Check the bottom of the air intake and make sure there are no leaks, also check the hose running to the front of the vehicle. Assuming you are hearing this sound while the vehicle is parked and running lol.
Hi Joe,
Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it useful & enjoyable.
As to the hissing, if it's on the driver's side it is likely that the source is somewhere along the intake or turbocharger. Visually inspect the plastic tubes for cracks, disconnected portion or loose clamps. Also, check the small vacuum elbows that are known to fail after years. They are usually under the throttle housing cover, which is held in place by one Torx screw.
Good luck,
JPN

Hey,
Thanks guys, I will check it out today. It sounded like a leak or a blockage to me last night. And yes this was while parked and running.
Just FYI, automotive industry uses left and right instead of driver and passenger side. And that is while looking from the back of the vehicle.
