Default Hose compatability?

Okay...on my 94 turbo I ripped the hose that comes out of the throttle body and goes to the upper intercooler inlet but also splits off to the sensor (IACV?) above the throttle body under the black plastic cover by the intake manifold.

That hose.

Is there the same hose on the N/A that just goes to the air box?

I ripped mine and need a new one and I don't want to spend $50 after shipping for a freaking hose.

Sorry to say but you need a turbo only hose unless you redo the entire system and bypass the intercooler.

Try to find one the RTV will not hold for long.

When mine went bad it was scary because right before it blew it expanded and held the throttle wide opened for about 30 seconds till I got it to release. I was driving down the highway when it happened.

My A/C compressor is starting to become seized and smokes after you run it, so it isn't going anywhere for a few days.

Found a guy for $20 shipped.

As far as the compressor goes, on the new one I got at the yard, there is a mild spot where the belt pulley rubs against the face of the clutch you see from the outside.

Bad?

Bahaha

Screw it I said.

I re-marked the starter I removed from the car and took the compressor back.

I found a compressor on eBay for $35 shipped that was guaranteed to work, so I went with that.

Paid a guy for my hose.

After that, all I need is the PNP switch and I should be golden.

Well, strut mount and tyres but whatever.

Tenks meng!

I swear though, if that PNP switch isn't the problem I am going to pull my hair out...including my legs...one by one

I paid $50 to a guy on VS that had a brand new one that he said he bought thinking it worked for the 5-speed trans that he had for his swap, but it didn't and never bothered returning it.

We'll see how clean it is when I get it.

The deal with that guy fell through.

Apparently his had a rip, so he had a friend go to a junk yard and the only one they had there had a rip, so he refunded my money.

I then placed an order with Eeuroparts (there's was about $15 cheaper than FCP Groton on that hose) and they called me to say it was back ordered.

I'm at wits end with this damn hose.

Does ANYONE have a back-up they can sell me for cheap?

I really need it. My driver side window doesn't work on my Celica and I need to keep it in the garage until I can get a regulator
