Default How do I adjust Headlight direction?

I have read all 850 topics but not found what I need.
My headlights have a motor which is driven by an adjustment
switch on the dash. There appears to be a hexagonal "nut"
on the top of the worm gear, with a phillips slot for a screw-
driver, which appears to be the height adjustment device.
But when I turn it nothing seems to happen. My garage miss-
aligned the lights, and when asked to correct them they
failed to make any difference. Is there another way of
adjusting the height? And can somebody tell me where the
left-right adjustment screws are?
Thanks,
Regards,
Colin

There is one adjustment on the top of the lights and one towards the bottom of the light.

If you try to tunr it and nothing happens then they might be broke.Remove the cover to access the light bulb. Then make sure the inside housing isn't flopping around.

Thank you. Sorry to be slow responding - been away.
Top adjustment
(I assume you mean the one associated with the electric internal control on dashboard)
causes minimal effect in up/down.
Cannot find left/right adjustment.
I will search for lower adjuster.
When I go over a road hump the lights remain steady, so I assume that there is no flopping.
Regards,
Colin
