You need to remove the lower dash panel on the passenger side.
Then you will see the metal knee bolster(black)
There is 3 nuts holding it in there. Remove the 3 nuts and work it out.
Also it is easier to get it out if the glovebox insert is out. That is easy to take out as well.
Remove the screws and pop the arms out of the door then slide the insert out.

Then you will see the blower motor on the right side.

FYI Please give more than 15 Minutes for us to reply.

I would say this dude for a first time post is a little impatient. May think this is a real time help line and even there you can expect to wait more than 14 minutes.

FYI, it is an easy access part and easy to replace, just take your time. Tech's instructions are spot on

I did a writeup on the subject a couple of weeks ago. It is just what Tech said but sometimes pictures help.

Default Blower motor squealing like a stuck pig...

Did anyone decide what is the best lube for these motors? I'm about to take mine out.

Also, I have read that people "wash out" the motor with WD-40... Would it be faster to wash it out with carb cleaner?

Well, I could not wait any longer to fix my fan so I used the instruction on the link referenced above and went for it. It took me about 30 minutes to get the fan out. My glove box was a little stuck so I had to work that out.

Once out I pulled the motor, etc. out of the black housing by removing the only screw on the back of it and pulled it out. I believe the fan has 2 points of bearings and the back one is easy to see and get at, however the top one, where the fan wheel is, is out of sight. So, I decided to was out the bearings with the WD-40 then lube it with the lithium spray lube. It is suppose to be long lasting. I did not remove the fan wheel because I was afraid to damage the motor. I had so much spray lube on things that I used carb cleaner to was off the fan wheel. The guys at O'Rielly's said that carb cleaner might be to rough on the bearings so I was careful not to get it on the bearings, just on the plastic part of the fan wheel.

Everything went back together pretty easy as well. I was able to drag everything out to about 2-1/2 hours. It runs very quiet now. While it was out I decided to plug it in and turn it on low to see if it still worked and the torque of the motor jerked it out of my hand and it fell on the floor. Once I got a good grip on it I turned it back on and I must say, this thing turns VERY FAST. WOW!!!

Unhappy AC Blower Motor Works Sometimes...

Since I removed, lubed, and re-installed my AC blower motor fan, it has started to work intermittent. Sometimes I start the car it works fine, sometimes I start the car it does not work at all. It will not work in any speed or AUTO. I can turn the car totally off, and re-start it and it will work again. Sometimes I have to do this 2 or 3 times to get it to work again. I never had this problem before I lubed the squeaky motor.

Any suggestions or recommendations? Or do I need to prepare to replace this old motor?

I would go for new so you do not have to go through this again in a few weeks to months.

OUCH! Just checked prices. After market price is about $100 less. Is there a big difference?

you get what you pay for is the real answer....

always a debate with me on which one i should get...

things to think about:

how many miles are on the car?
how long will you have it?
is it worth the money for the car?
etc
