Default How does one read the ecc codes?

Great, just in time for winter. My ECC just started acting up. When I start my 96 850R it only blows out the defroster on every position. The temp works fine. Just looking for somewhere to start, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need a special scanner from the dealer to read the codes for the ECC on a 96 or newer car. The scanner tool is very expensive so it may be better to just take it to the dealer.

I ended up replacing the ECC and the blower motor. So far, so good. Thanks for the help.
