How is the heater core removed?
I've just discovered engine coolant in the footwell of my'95 850 T5 wagon.
I intend to pull the heater core out to establish if the corehas failed or whether it is something as annoying as a heater hose "O" ring not seating properly.
Would someone like to posttheir experience about removing the heater core - preferabley with any helpfulphotographs.
Are any special tools needed?
Are there any traps to be aware of?
Thanks in anticipation.

Please see attached pics. Although they may not be thorough enough for you and I myself have never removed the heater core, the pics should give you some ideas before those who have had their heater core removed jump in.
>Are there any traps to be aware of?
Every time I used to work on my 850, I always found traps here & there, which I considered as a part of training.
Good luck, I hope this gives you some ideas.
Cheers,
JPN
