How do I test the Electronic Climate Control on a 1996 850 GLT? Some connection of an LED to pins in the OBDII port? My main problem is that the compressor switches on and off continuously when I run the A/C and the air never gets cold, because the compressor is never on, it's just cycling on and off every couple secs or so. I recharged the system and have checked the pressure and it is within normal limits.

The high pressure switch might be bad not allowing the cooling fan to come on.
Are the lights flashing when you start the car?

What does it mean when the lights flash at start up?

 

That means there is codes stored in the ECC module.
