Default I need a new exhaust for my T5R

It is rotted at the first hanger after the downpipe. It is too shot to weld. The kit on IPD looks really nice but it is a thousand bucks and I would have to change the housing on the turbo or something. The sales rep at IPD was telling me that they no longer makes an exhaust that bolts right up. Anyway I can't afford to spend that kind of coin, but I was told that this exhaust is the same as on an 850 turbo. Which other exhausts would work please? Any 850 with a turbo? thanks

You might try FCPGROTON they have exhaust components, very helpful to deal with, call them for particular fitment.

or if you want to save money, go aftermarket. I got an OBX turbo back for $402 shipped, and it came with 2 downpipes. After i sold the downpipe I didnt need and scrapped the old exhaust, the replacement wound up costing me about $275

The OBX is a nice set up. You don't get a cat but if your state requires one you can get a universal that works with a 850 and can be welded in.

Yes there are many exhausts that will work for 850 turbo, some of them are Volvo 850 Turbo Exhaust, IPD turboback exhaust, gaskets also good way and OBX Turboback Exhaust.

Thanks for all the help. FCPGROTON has a kit for around 260 which is pretty cheap. I have to decide what to get. In the meantime I am driving my 855R so it is not a big deal to fix the other one right away.
