Default I want an early visit from the Volvo Santa

I've been looking for a rear wing for my wagon. For months I've been patiently looking around with no luck. Has anyone purchased from this guy on EBay?

It's within my budget but I don't know if I can trust someone half a world away.

You should be able to find one a hell of a lot cheaper locally.
I just saw one sell for $80 shipped with all the mounting hardware
Your in CT, there are a bunch of guys in CT that part cars and have tons of parts.
and there would be no need to ship

Are you on Volvospeed's facebook page?

I have contacted him previously about this exact item. It does NOT come with any kind of mounting brackets. I neglected to ask him if the bracket holes were in the spoiler so I could source them elsewhere. I have decided to try and source a genuine one second hand.

Thanks Matt, If the $80 dollar one was on EBay 2 weeks ago, yeah I went to ****** it and some lucky guy beat me. I have a really terrible schedule.

I'm gonna get on Volvo Speed on Facebook and see if someone can help out

@Brick850, Thanks, I was hoping to hear something like this. I too sent him a message regarding the spolier and I believe they are not comfortable answering it. I asked for more detailed pics and asked what difference is it from OEM, or is it just a cast die type of replica. They haven't replied.

I got mine for $20 in junk yard. Hold out to see if you can find one there.

I'll keep an eye out in the JY as well. My cost plus shipping would be your cost.

This is the original Volvo spoiler and it flows off the roof line.

The one on Ebay IMHO just looks a little bloated and doesn't "fit" as much as it looks bolted on.

I would wait till I found the Volvo one. I think it looks more like it belongs there.

yeah your right, The guy got back to me and he said that the spoiler is actually a replica from the original. No scew holes niether. I've seen stuff like this done when I was in school 20 years ago. Fiberglass casted and then handlaid over foam if I remember.

Does look a little Pillsbury Doh Boyish

O'l Volvo master hear my plea

regardless of what you get, do not buy one without the mounting hardware.

Default wagon spoiler

ibified- I also got mine for $20 at my local Pick n Pull. It was silver but now is white with a nice clearcoat. Came off a V70. included all of the hardware.

With all of this modern online stuff, I think people forget about good old fashioned junkyards. Up here you can walk the yard- Thats my favorite kind. Dave
