Had my '95 850 Turbo for a few weeks now. Noticed that when the motor is cold, the idle isn't at about 1500 rpm. Is this normal? It is always around 800 rpm, regardless of temp.

The coolant temp sensor might be bad.

Since it is running fine, I will not "mess" with it for the time being.

Is this the sensor that is near the thermostat?
