Default Installed my ARD tune

So I got my ard tune today.... all I can say for now is WOW!!
Lucky has gone above and beyond with his tunes.
he fine tuned it for my port and polish, I have no more backfiring between 3500 and 4500 rpms.
Boost is smooth and the power is nuts.
He also installed the switch for the ardvark flasher...

But sadly I can not enjoy it for a couple of days..
I got so fiesty with it, I either popped a heater core o-ring, or the heater core, cause my floor is all wet now...

But I highly recommend ARD

Sadly I have not been able to enjoy mine. Had to send it back. Will not boost over 12psi and redline is 6.5k. Lucky have been totally cool about it and is going to send me another flash. Hope it all goes well

Congratulations!

Yes his remaps are on point, mine's strong at 16lbs and backs down to 14lbs at redline (6K rpms)...

just have to take care of the other parts that are starting to get weak.

Well I found something out from wiseco..

Viva imports their wiseco kits from Europe.
Wiseco does not make a Piston kit for the 850 in the US

BUT.... and this is a BIG BUT... Because we have been a dealer for wiseco for 20 years we get special pricing.

My cost for a CUSTOM made piston w/ rings, wrist pins, circlips, and bearings (full piston kit) in any finish (ie; Moly, forged, high compression) any size (in MM)

Would be $175 a piston set.

I would pass the savings on to you guys ofcourse.. that is $875 for a set of 5 + shipping ofcourse. and you can get them in any combination and size you want.

When I do my motor build Ill be ordering a set... may not be till january but ill let everyone know..

Cool!
But truthfully I don't plan on any more mods after full exhaust because you know what, that's when the fun ends and the MORE POWER addiction takes over and gives you an aneurysm!

If I start pulling apart this motor i'll want BIG power. I don't think I have the energy/resources for a build like that...

Red face

By the time you're done you'll need a set of Willwood BBKs to stop that rocket!

I'm just a bit lazy right now and would rather just maintain my car than make it any faster, i've almost killed myself once already after Lucky worked his magic.

I don't think I have the restraint with a built and ready T5 like that..

How much power to the crank do you think you'll make after all the motor work is done? So far just adding up th elist you have comes to around $2800.

Do you plan on any work to your gearbox?
