Default intercooler install

I'm getting ready to do my intercooler and was wondering if it is possible to change it out without removing the radiator? Your help is very much appreciated.

Cut and paste from other threads:
You have to drain the rad, and drop the rad/intercooler/ac condenser as an assembly.

You can let the condenser hang from its lines to get enough clearance to remove IIRC 4 bolts that attach the condenser to the rad. The intercooler is just sandwiched between them.

P.S. If you don't already know, there is only 2 bolts that hold in the assembly. One on either side on tabs that are on either side of the rad.

Second reply:
Rad removal is not needed. Tom some how removed mine in like 15 min with a hack saw. Remove the rad support and cut the top intercooler hole on the intercooler and it should come out after that

Also take care when undoing the 2 bolts they tend to be rusty and break..
