i saw the whole kit for $3000 sounds expensive. just wondering if anyone besides IPD has a car with this kit.

I personally don't know anyone with this kit.

 

It's not that even that great of a kit. I think you could put together something better or the same for the same price/cheaper.

ECU is the hardest part of this kit. If you buy from them, it's 1000, but if you really think about it, you can buy yourself a boost controller, SAFC (to control the air/fuel ratio) to do essentially the same thing, and you wouldn't have to send the ECU in everytime you get a new mod. You can do everything yourself.

Get a larger turbo (The 18T).

Get an after market exhaust (maybe a borla or Magnaflow).
Get a downpipe (I think this might have to be custom, I'm not completely sure if anyone sells this).

Imo, this custom kit I just described would probably be better and most likely cheaper.

 

all the stuff looks like pretty good quality, but for sure it is expensive.

i am jealous that there test car is a stick shift.

i am driving up to seattle, WA next week, i was gonna maybe stop in Portland and see if they will give me a ride in there test car or let me drive it.... even better =)
