Default Keep getting OBD 1 code knock sensor

Hello,
I've got a 95 Turbo, and every three days or so I get a code 143, knock sensor signal. Nearly everytime it's when I'm accelerating up hill. I can clear the code manually under the hood with the obd1 panel but it comes back on after a few days. Anyone else have this problem and a fix? I am using chevron premium 91 and I did a full tune up minus rotor and wires. New plugs, air filter, and even ran some fuel system cleaner. Thanks for any help.

LOL, that's a good one. Full tune up, minus wires and rotor. What date is on the wires that you decided not to replace?

If you have a knock code, you likely have a bad sensor, bad wires, or maybe even have timing off a little. There is a upgrade to the knock sensors and wires from what I have read on Volvo Parts, Accessories and Performance Specialist Since 1963.

Regarding the wires and rotor, the hands were willing, but the pocketbook was weak. I'll have to check them and the rotor I suppose and replace them to start the elimination sequence.
