My wife accidentally wash the key and place in the dryer resulting the keyless remote battery to run out of power. When she used the key to start the car it won't turn. I tried the other key with good battery, the same result it won't turn and the small anti theft light by the radio is blinking. Any info is appreciated....my car is volvo 850, 1996 sedan.

 

I figure out what's wrong with it with the help of some informations from the forum. The steering wheel was locked that's why key won't turn when starting. What i did is turn the steering wheel, reinsert the key then turn.....it start.
