Default LCD clock, mileage, etc. in instrument panet

Hi all, replaced my odometer gear and the the dash bulbs. Everything works except the LCD panel lights at the bottom of the panel. Bulbs are good - all connection made. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Default LCD trip info

My trip information LCD panel works but thought I'd ask if anyone knows if it's supposed to be lit up? Works fine just can't read it at night. Is there a replaceable bulb in there to light it up with the headlight on? If so, any link to a "how to" on getting to it?

Bulbs are burned out. There are two bulbs to replace - and plenty of write-ups to read how to do it, most with pictures. You have to open the dash and pull the instrument panel to change them out. It's easy but takes a while. Dealers will charge a few hundred in labor.

Did you test the lights in the instrument panel before you buttoned it all up? Did you use filament bulbs or LEDs? If it's LEDs, they do have a polarity so you have a 50/50 chance of installing them backwards.

Default Thanks for the info

I ordered two new bulbs from ipd. I just wish that those two bulbs would have been part of the instrument panel replacements when I ordered the bulbs to be replaced when repairing my odometer. Oh well - lesson well learned. Thanks!!
