Lola's Progress Log
What are you changing on the rear brakes? Are you changing the parking brake mechanisms?
Did you change the bulbs on the shifter console? I want to change mine but it looks like a really tough job - removing most of the console...

The bulbs on the shifter is fairly easy. I did a few of them with an LED swap about a year ago. The shifter is easy to get too. After you get your console out for the first time, it's a breeze. Don't freak out over it. A total of 8 or so torx screws and you're set.
Cool. I get it that you didn't turn the rotors, you just swapped the pads? How does that feel?
Also which pads did you get from FCP and are they squeaking? I have to change mine as well...one of the rears is toast, literally. I guess it has glazed, because it's still thick, it just doesn't brake at all.

I ordered the Volvo OEM ones. I herd that OEM ones don't squeak if you put enough of the anti-sequel stuff on it.

I have a major vacuum leak from my EGR gasket, so that's what's been causing a funny reading on my car. Going to get a new one!

Fixed all of that, but I still have a vacuum leak somewhere. for doing the PCV, where would be a good place to look? I've checked all my IC hoses, EGR is on tight. Would a lower injector o-ring cause this? I normally idle at 20-22 in/hg but now I'm 18-20 in/hg

Done that, so I don't think it's any part of the hoses. I've done it to every part, done it to every connection, etc. Could it be a part in the manifold? Didn't do one of the support bolts on the manifold, would that be it? It's a pretty damn small leak though, but it's annoying.
