Default Looking at a 850R, what problems to look for?

FNG here and I have a question for you all.

Im going to look at a 1997 850R tomorrow and would like to know what problem areas to check. I live in Michigan so if there are any known rust areas do tell.

What I do know;
1997 850R, Red paint
140,000 miles, Automatic of course

Problems: Left rear door will not open. Not sure why, bad lock cylinder? Headliner is falling down. The AC needs to be recharged.

Thanks for any help and look forward to joining the 850 family.

Edit: Wanted to add some more info from the seller; trans wont shift from park (random issue, does not happen everytime), I suspect the brake switch or ingnition switch.

Did you purchase the vehicle?
I had some intermittent cruise issues and odd various idiot lights coming on and off. Found out the ignition switch can cause a number of gremlins in there and replaced mine. Fixed the problems.

I did.

All of the problems above have been fixed. These cars are fairly easy to work on. The shift lock deal was indeed the ignition switch. I replaced the micro switch just have a newer one in there.
