Hi all,

I was fooling around under the hood of my 850 today, and noticed that what I think is the pre heat hose is pretty loose. The hose itself is still in one peace, but it sits on very loose on both ends. I was thinking of just putting some clamps on it and leave it, but Im just curious if a leak would be critical in any way. As far as I understand it is only there to bring warm air up to the air filter housing?

 

You can leave it alone or put the clamps on it does not matter.

 

I agree, but clamp it if it would make you feel more comfortable
