Loose ring around valve seal on 850 T-5R

Hey Guys
I found several of the rings in the photo below loose on the head of my 850. You can see me using a pick playing with it in the photo. It won't fall off, It's just loose.
Is this a problem. Its located right above the valve seal.

There is a ring that sits between the head and the valve spring. It is loose.
