lost car keys (and remote) - spare key would make alarm go off?
I own a '96 Volvo 850T wagon. Yesterday I lost my car keys and also the remote. My car is sitting in a parking lot locked and the alarm is on. I have a spare key, but i have no extra remote. If i try to unlock the car manually with the key, I would assume the alarm would go off. If it starts beeping is there a way to make it stop? Or will I be stuck like that till someone calls the cops?
Should I use my spare key or i need to find my old keys and remote? I need my car as soon as possible, you can imagine. What should I do?

If it is the factory alarm as soon as you unlock the car with the key the alarm will turn off. If it is an aftermarket alarm then it will go off.
