It is a strap that goes from the car seat to the floor of a wagon or the rear deck lid of a sedan, you hook to it and it is a secondary restraint for the car seat. Seatbelt plus tether=safer child.
We asked if we could buy them and have them installed.
Service adviser said no problem, Volvo will pay for the parts and installation, no cost to you because they want you and your family to be as safe as possible.
