Hi, what was your initial problem with the transmission - can't find the earlier thread you wrote, I have an 850 GLT which has a very 'jerky' transmission when driving around city - and tends to rev up here and there between gears depending on how much gas you give it.

my transmission issue was that it would slip sometime in reverse and the first gear wouldn't shift properlyat thestoplight, so if i stop and wait for a green light it would take another 5 seconds to go after pushing on gas. the problem seemes to be solved now. but don't know for how long.

oh, sounds different asmine has plenty of 'bite' in both reverse and first, it's just that it givesa very rough gear changebetween 1-2 and 2-3, it used to be a lot smoother5,000 milesago. It does occasionally rev up when in 3rd.

i would still try lucas, i think it still might help, or maybe your fluid is bad, did you check that?

the fluid has been checked and looks fine, a nice light red colour. Maybe it's worth me trying lucas!
