one question Tech, did you have to swap the axles from the manual car or could you have used the ones from the auto?

I used the Auto axles. Here is what I learned from a ton of reading. You can use Auto axles on a manual transmission. But you cannot use manual axles on an auto tranny. The manual tranny axles are a hair smaller where they meet the seal.

I cannot wait to see the write up on this. I'm getting closer and closer to buying that M56H swap, mostly because all of the manual cars around here are beat to s#@t and have 200k miles on them, or they're asking $2,500+. Not to mention the closest manual is about 4 hours away.

ANYWAYS. How are you liking it so far? Completely different car and like 100x more fun to drive?

Yes it is awesome to drive and yes a whole new car.
Today went to the store and roads were a little wet. When I got on it a little in 3rd and boost kicked in the tires broke loose.

Alot of fun to drive!!!

Man, I can't wait. This will be my first manual car, in fact, this will be the first manual CAR I will have ever driven. I learned manual on an older Ford F350 Super Duper Heavy Duty Diesel, takes like ten seconds to shift between gears. lulz. Are you going to get a short shift kit for it? Like the ones on VS?

I am making my own plate. I also shortened the shifter as well.

Like shortened the actual "shift ****"? Like the same thing that EST sells. Because they sell a short **** kit, but I don't think it's an actual plate, I think it's just a shorter ****.

Oh nice. I'm pretty sure that's what EST's are. Where did get your clutch kit from? Is it that sach's one? something like that. I've found some other ones on Viva Performance but they're pretty pricey.

Ok, that's what I thought. Someone told me the clutch kits are like 200 bucks, but the ones on viva are like 570. But I they're performance clutch kits.

The ones from viva I think are "R" clutches. There really wouldn't be any reason to get one of those unless your doing some serious driving like track or quarter mile or something.

I think if the performance clutches were like a hundred bucks more or something, I would consider it, but 200 dollars compared to 600 dollars is kinda a big difference.
