I was going to do a manual swap until I found out today that my oil leak is not because of my PCV and that I need to replace all the seal on the engine so it looks like I am just going to drive the 850 into the ground.

So why not just replace the seals?
The cam seals are cake. The rear main when you do the tranny swap.
So why not just replace them?

I really don't have time to do it myself and to have a mechanic do it would cost me around 2500. I also need the rear shocks (NIVOMAT) done, all the bushings, Brakes and rotors in the rear. I don't know. With just shy of 200K on the clock, I figured I would just save my money and buy a newer Volvo with lower miles and already a manual.

Me too. If anything, I will sell it to someone on the forum in the spring. Someone that has the time to take care of the issues it has. I really don't want to part it out or give it to a dealer.
