95 850 wagon- To quote an old boss of mine, "Something wacky is going on here!" Bought the car about 3 months ago, looks like the dash top was taken off and not replaced correctly or something. Maybe the airbad went off? see photos. Any thoughts on a repair for this, or should I seek out a grey dashtop from my local Pick n Pull? Thanks! Dave

 

The airbag peeling up may just be from the heat... Mine was starting to do that, I just used some 3M bond underneath it to hold it down.

The corner piece looks like the little tab is not slid into its holder.. If it is the corner might just be bent I bent mine back with a heat gun and some patience.

 

Someone had it off and didnt get the tab on the passenger side tucked in right. Tha passenger side airbag cover looks like exactly what Matty said, and the fix is exactly how he said as well.

 

That passenger airbag has been there a long time.

Is the odometer working?

 

Henry- yes, odo is working, 194 on the clock.

So it sounds like I take the dashtop off completely and try re-glueing that airbag cover back down. I wondered if there was a tab on that corner that was broken or not re-installed correctly. I've got a few dash bulbs that are out, sounds like i might take the topper off and see what I can mess up, err, I mean fix. Dave
