Sometimes I hear a very anoying metallic noise under the glove compartment of my 850 SW Turbo year 1995. This noise apparently doesnt have a pattern to show up..
Does anyone has an idea of the origin of such noise and how to fix it?

Is this sound like a loose metals hitting each other? or is it like a screetching noise? What is the frequency and is triggered by jumps/jerks?

If its close to the second then it could be from your blower motor ceasing. you can isolate that by turning the blower off as soon as you hear it.

 

seems more like loose metals at each other. Definitely is not the blowe ´cause it happens when it is off. sometime begins even in idle in the garage.After a while it vanishes and then suddently happens again. I cant find a pattern for it to happen.

Remove the lower dash panel on the passenger side. Then you will see a black metal bar. There is 3 nuts holding it on there make sure they are all tight.

 

I will do that and let you know if that was the issue.
