More trouble
Hi kakins,
>"I can't believe I hit a pot hole this weekend..."
Not to worry, I've done something world-class stupid before I left Chicago, and did a few hundred $$$ damage to my boss's POS Suzuki Forenza's wheel + tyre(Korean OEM, not a genuine Suzuki but Suzuki 4-wheelers never had good reputation in their home country either[8D]However their 2-wheelers still have great respect
).
Anyway, let's start from simple jobs first. Visually inspect the front wheels & tyres for damage, loss of air pressure and missing balance weight (little lead weight installed on the outer edge of a wheel). If they are ok, try shaking front-end components, such as bumpers, lights, or anything in the engine compartment. Lastly, if you have access to floor jack & jack stands, you might want toinspect the steering, drive axles, axle ends (CV-joint area, etc...) for obvious damage. I assume one of the tyres might have lost some air after hitting the pot hole, if acceleration became sluggish.
Please update us with your findings when you can.
Good luck,
JPN
