I changed the PCV system and screwed up doing that, but eventually got it right. I also changed the radiator hoses cause I had a leak. New hoses and still have a leak. So I guess I change the radiator cause the leak is coming from that area. Sure hope I can do this job right, cause in the words of Tom Petty I'm tired of screwing up. My spoiler didn't come out too good either. It's OK, but sure doesn't look like a factory finish.

 

Comparison picture for the spoiler? I'm in line to get mine paitned, but I don't want to shell out 200 for a place to paint it. Any help? Factory coat 412

 

I'm sure you would be fine! However me, not so much! I'd rather you and your knowledge screw up than me and mine,lol..... Do you have any pics of the yellow one with the new wing?

Here is a picture of the spoiler. Like I said it looks ok, but not great. From the looks of things changing the radiator does not look too tough to me. Don't know if I want to get it from the dealer for $259 or from fcpgroton for $209 for a Nissen.

One question, How did you paint yours? I'm trying to find a cost-effective way to paint mine.

 

First I stripped it down with sandpaper, then I filled the crack and nicks with AutoBody Resin and sanded it smooth. Then I sprayed it down with filler primer, sanded it again and then used regular auto primer. I have a quart of perfect matching yellow paint from the body work I just had done. I thinned it down with the paint thinner that was made for that paint. I bought an aerosol canister and jar and put the mixed paint in that and sprayed the yellow that way. When I got enough yellow on, I sprayed two coats of clear coat on it. Everything except the yellow was in rattle cans. It really does not have enough shine to it though. I'm getting ready to go out and do some more wet sanding to see if I can get it to shine more.

If you mean the paint. I'm not sure because the guy just gave me what he had left when he finished the body work on the car. He said it would be about $125 per quart and it was not quite a full quart.

Shamwows suck. Not intended to be a pun. I just use them more or less like rags. They will suck up quite a bit of fluid, but will not dry things like a true chamois will. It's fund to suck up a glass of water, but they will not dry your car or windows.
