Default My 1994 850 Turbo Little red light .....

Comes on and it's located to the right of my Digital display (which tell's temp, MHG,Time, etc) at the bottom of guage cluster. The red light its approx. 3/16" in diameter and comes on in the morning's at first start up of the day and usually doesn't go off til I have driven it a while and have stopped the engine and restarted it.
I do not have an owners manual and have tried to google this light with no luck in finding out what it indicates...Any help would be appreciated.

In the general section of this website there is a link called Freq Asked Questions for New Volvo Owners. In that link there is a link of the Online Owners Manual. Go there and figure out what the light is.

What does the red light say? If it's the little round red light with the snow flake around it, it's a warning light to let you know that it is cold enough outside for the roads to freeze. If the temp goes below 25 degrees, the light goes out because they assume you know the roads are frozen. Between 25 - 36, it comes on to warn you.

I never see snow where I live but I do see that light some cold mornings in the winter. 36 degrees is the magic number

Light also likes to come on when you crank and get no start. like dead/low battery.

so many times I've hated that snowflake light.

Use s for plural without the apostrophe. s with an apostrophe indicates possession. You got it right when you spelled mornings. Manuel's online manuals are available in Spanish.
