I bought this about a month & half ago pretty nice deal got it below blue book value & the dealership had all the proper inspections done before I purchased it. I HATE the color (dull gray?) I'm considering having it painted any suggestions? I also want to do SOME mods suggestions? I'm a fan of a custom exhaust that has that deep heavy sound to it. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to have the car lifted a bit I know most Volvo's I've seen sit low but I was wondering what you all thought about raising it maybe 2-3 inches? I was also wondering how big of rim I could fit on there? 16, 17? Take a look at the pics & give me some suggestions as to what modifications to add..


OHH & the odometer is broken is that expensive to fix? I'm new to Volvo's completely so any help someone can provide would be appriciated.

 

Don't paint it a different color. Why lift it? Some 850s came stock with 17s, anything larger looks out of place IMO.

If you do paint it, make sure to do it right and paint EVERYTHING.

 

Lifting it would look stupid in my opinion. Leave it where it is or lower it. 17"rims would fit with no problem. Get the windows tinted. Find an OEM spoiler on ebay and put that on. Put a K & N air filter in. Different rims would definitely look better. Upgrade the stereo if you're into music. I'm sure other people have some ideas for mods, but this should be a start.
