Well it's been extremely hot in st. Louis lately and the double side adhesive that holds the middle of the spoiler was old and it stop holding the spoiler and the trunk lid together which lifted of about 2 cm in the extreme heat. However when the temp. when down the gap closed back down. Wondering where to get that double sided (I think is foam) adhesive or something similar. Called the dealer and they don't sell the middle but the whole mounting kit for $56 dollars which I seem too much for such a thing. Can anyone help? I'm afraid the air might pick up under the spoiler when driving and break the thing.

 

I don't think it will. My S70 doesn't have a center piece. But you should be able to go to any store that sells 3M double sidded tape and it will work. I purchased a mount kit from a Volvo dealer in Charlotte NC & it was a little cheaper. Maybe closer to $40. It had the side rail clips in it as well. Just about any auto-parts store should sell moding tape which should work.

+2 3M double sided adhesive. I also found the mounting brackets on ebay and paid about $11 if I remember correctly.
