Oil Trap seperated / broke in half

Been dealing with oil leaks. replaced the turbo drain o-ring and gasket, oil pan, did all seals; cam, crank, and intermediate shaft, when I did the timing belt when I first bought it.
Did the oil trap about a year ago. noticed a bit of oil in the vicinity. started pulling oil trap to reseal where it connects to the base and when I grabbed it separated on me. Completely broke in half getting it out........
Bought a new one, all good.
Not hear to bad mouth anybody, I did it a warranty credit. Letting fellow members aware of a situation. I've never seen this happen before.

Whatever IPD offers.
I purchased another one that said OEM volvo on it from a local reputable aftermarket and genuine oem wholesaler that deals with quality aftermarket parts. How is it even possible to clean without splitting it in half?
I noticed my t-stat dripping and pulled my voltage regulator just to see the height of the brushes and there's 2 more thing my "vo" needs............ Never ends.

Cleaner, air, shaking it like it owes you money.... seen a few youtube videos out there that show you how to do it.

A very heavily plugged separator cannot be cleaned. But if it's not so bad, you can use something like long stiff wire to root in the holes to dislodge the deposits. Then soak it solvent and let it sit for a day. Then root it out again. The test is that air should move freely through it.
